    A welcome letter

    Hello.

We scraped 623 Stan stores. 228 of them fit the relationship-coach ICP — divorce, dating, attachment, therapy, trauma recovery, self-worth, anxiety, faith-based work.

Then we read every offer page, counted the tiers, mapped the funnels.

This guide is the 5-minute read of what we found. The full report has the charts, the niche cuts, the exemplars.

    What most coaches get wrong

Most coaches think the bottleneck is content.

    Or niche. Or branding.

    It usually isn't.

The bottleneck is structural — the price ladder is missing a rung.

The funnel goes from a free PDF straight to a $1,000 program. There's nothing in between.

When the only paid step is $1,000+, every reader who liked your free guide but isn't ready for a 12-week commitment churns out.

    Who sells coaching on Stan

228 relationship coaches across 8 niches:

    Self-worth38
    Relationship30
    Therapy30
    Trauma recovery24
    Dating19
    Divorce18
    Spiritual / Christian18

Most are solo. Most run a side or scaling business — not a 7-figure empire. The patterns repeat across niche.

The tier ladder is missing a rung

Most coaches stack 1–3 paid tiers. The gap that shows up in the data:

    38%
of relationship coaches have nothing priced between $25 and $75 — the most common rung missing from the ladder.

Below $25, you're competing with $9 ebooks. Above $75, you're a $200 program. The slot in between is the async slot — one paid question, one paid voice note, one paid 15-minute call.

That slot is where most readers want to spend money. It's also empty in almost every store we audited.

    The complete-funnel gap

A complete funnel has all four levels:

    01Free lead magnet
    PDF, quiz, mini-course
    02Low-ticket entry
    $5–$30 ebook or micro-course
    03Mid-tier
    $50–$200 async, group, mini
    04High-ticket
    $500+ 1:1 program or retreat
    1 of 228
coaches in the report had a full stack — all four levels in one place. Most have two or three. The mid-tier is the one that gets skipped most.

    Three archetypes

Most relationship coaches cluster into one of three patterns:

    01Low-ticket emotional
Cheap entries ($9–30 ebooks, mini-courses). High volume, low margin per asker. Few have anything mid-tier.
    02Mid-ticket coaching
Group programs ($150–500). The biggest cluster. Often missing both a lead magnet and a high-ticket anchor.
    03High-ticket transformation
1:1 programs ($1,000–10,000+). Strong anchor. Only 3.8% have a full funnel underneath.

The archetype tells you where you are. The gap tells you what to add next.

    Plug the gap

You don't need a new product to fix the missing rung. You need one paid async link.

Nudge gives you one URL that does all four formats: text answers / voice notes / video answers / live calls.

    30% vs 0.5–2%
asker-to-paid conversion on Nudge vs Stan offer pages. Async paid Q&A converts at coaching-discovery-call rates.
