How can I help people who are not ready for my full coaching program yet?
Give them something paid and small to take now. People who are not ready currently get nothing, and people who get nothing do not wait: they drift to another coach, or to a chatbot that answers at four in the morning for free.
1. Understand what "not ready" usually means
Rarely "not interested". Usually not yet able to commit the money or the months, while having an urgent specific problem right now. That combination is a buyer for something smaller, not a lost cause.
2. Stop offering a lower-commitment version of the programme
A shorter package at a lower price moves people who would have bought the full thing down a rung. Sell something different in kind, like an answer rather than a programme, and nothing cannibalises.
3. Give them a way to come back repeatedly
Someone solving one problem at a time over six months is a customer the whole time, and they arrive at the programme already knowing how you work. That is a better path than a nurture sequence they skim.
4. Keep a record of who they are
The people who buy small things from you are your real pipeline. A list of everyone who has paid for an answer in the last quarter is worth more at launch than the whole follower count.
5. Do not hold back the good answer
Answering a small question completely is what proves the programme is worth it. Holding something back to create need does the opposite, and it is obvious to the person reading.
Where a paid question fits
Nudge is a way to run steps 2 to 4: one paid question at a time, your prices, 90% to you, captured only when you reply, with a record of everyone who has paid. The same can be done with paid consultations if you prefer to work live.
Common questions
What do I sell to people who cannot commit to coaching yet?
Something that solves one problem now rather than a smaller version of the programme. Paid answers, paid audits and single consultations all work, and all leave the programme price intact.
How do I keep leads warm without a nurture sequence?
Let them buy small things from you repeatedly. Recent money changing hands keeps a relationship alive far better than emails that get skimmed.
