The real difference
Topmate is a suite. Paid questions are one of about a dozen things it does, alongside courses, cohorts and webinars. Nudge does one thing: a paid question gets a private answer. If you want a storefront with a course builder attached, Topmate has more of it. If you want the question-and-answer part to be good and nothing else to configure, that is the whole of Nudge.
Pick Topmate instead if
- You want to run cohorts, webinars or a course library from the same account
- You want an Instagram auto-DM tool bundled in
- You are selling mostly scheduled 1:1 calls rather than written answers
Pick Nudge if
- You want to keep 90% rather than that minus a transaction fee of up to 6%
- You do not want to set up a storefront to sell one answer
- You want the asker protected by a reply window, so an unanswered question costs them nothing
